He is the CEO of our healthcare arm, this being his second stint as the Chief Executive Officer of the organisation. Mr. Singh is an acknowledged business leader and a seasoned professional, with over 25 years of experience and has held senior executive roles in HR, Retail and Healthcare. He has worked across multiple geographies and has a strong track record of building & leading great teams and delivering exceptional results.
With nearly two decades of diverse experience across multiple industries, functions, geographies and cultures, Varun has lived and worked in India, USA and South Africa. He has been associated with the healthcare, pharmaceuticals, consulting, telecom and IT industries and has rich experience in general management, strategy development, business transformation, M&A, business integration and technology. Prior to joining HealthFore, Varun was CIO and Head Strategic Initiatives at Fortis Healthcare.
Michel is Chief Executive Officer of Dion Global Solutions and is responsible for it’s strategic growth globally. He has over 20 years of successful sales, consulting and management experience in the IT and Financial Services Industry. Prior to joining Dion, Michel was the Vice President for the Financial Services Industry at SAP for the Asia Pacific region.
Arindam is a business leader with more than 2 decades of experience in a variety of sales, marketing, operations and P&L roles in Fortune 500 companies. He has worked on the largest consumer brand in the country, Colgate; been part of the start-up team of Pillsbury; set up & led Häagen-Dazs business in India from inception, and led the new corporate identity creation for Sterlite. Along the way, he has built strong teams geared for success. He has exposure and experience in managing acquisition and integration of acquired business; and has a strong track record of leading business transformation.
Arindam is a mechanical engineering graduate from IIT Kharagpur, and an MBA from IIM Calcutta. He makes time to pursue his passion in long distance endurance running, and going for experiential driving vacations with family.
Mr. Chadha was previously the MD & CEO of SAK Consumer Retail Services Ltd (SAKCRS) which he promoted in 2003 and which was acquired by RWL in Oct’08.
Prior to promoting SAKCRS he was a Senior Manager with the management consulting firm A.T. Kearney and managed a number of engagements in the areas of new business development and organizational improvement.
He is an MBA from the Said Business School, Oxford and holds a Post Graduate Degree in Economics from the Delhi School of Economics.
Mr. Sunil Godhwani in his capacity as a Whole-Time Director, Religare Enterprises Limited (REL), is a guide and mentor to the various group businesses of Religare. Till recently in his executive capacity as the CEO of REL, was responsible for leading and managing all the businesses. He joined Religare in 2001 and prior to that has a rich and varied experience as an entrepreneur in his family business. During his tenure at Religare he was instrumental in transforming the platform from a mono line broking led business to a diversified and well regarded financial services group.
Born and raised in New Delhi, India, Sunil pursued his higher studies internationally. He received a B. Sc. Degree in Chemical Engineering and a M.Sc. in Industrial Engineering & Finance from Polytechnic Institute of New York.
Lt. Col Jintender Singh Chandel (Retd.) was commissioned into the Rajput Regiment of the Indian Army in 1980 and served in staff and field appointments at various levels including as BM of Brigade in active insurgency area of Nagaland and with Special Group (COMMANDO) and commanded the unit during Indian Peace Keeping Force operations in Sri Lanka. He also served as Joint Director Coordination in the Recruiting Directorate, Army Head Quarters and was responsible for coordinating recruitment of officers through SSBs and other ranks by the Recruiting Zones and the Directorate. He took premature retirement in 2001 after serving 21 glorious years with the Indian Army. In 2005, he joined Ranbaxy as General Manager, Administration and Security. This entailed the administration and security of the largest R&D complex among pharmaceutical companies in India and seven manufacturing plants all over the country. He joined Fortis Healthcare Limited in 2009 as a senior member of a core team for setting up a 275 bed Hospital at Kolkata and was in charge of all the regulatory licenses and permissions required for running a Multispecialty Hospital. He currently works with Fortis as Head of Project & Liaison in the Executive Chairman Office. Lt. Col. Chandel is a Commerce Graduate from DAV College, Chandigarh and holds an MSc in Defence Studies from Madras University.
Mr. Gurpreet Singh Dhillon has held the position of Chief Executive Officer of RHTTM since 22 May 2013. Prior to his current appointment, he served as the Chief Operating Officer of the Trustee Manager. Mr. Dhillon oversees all key operations of RHT and is involved in sourcing for investment opportunities for RHT. He also serves as a Director on Fortis Global Healthcare Infrastructure Pte. Ltd. and Religare Healthtrust Services Pte. Ltd., both of which are wholly-owned subsidiaries of RHT. Previously, Mr. Dhillon gained his experience in the fields of investments and asset management during his career in Religare Capital Markets Plc, the investment banking arm of Religare Enterprises Limited, where he played key advisory roles in real estate acquisitions across India and the United Kingdom. Mr. Dhillon graduated from the University of Essex with a Bachelor of Laws degree.
Mr. Nalin Nayyar currently serves as the Group Chief Executive Officer, Religare Enterprises Limited. He has been with the Religare Group for six years. He was, until recently, Group President – Strategic Initiatives at RHC Holdings Private Limited (RHC), a Promoter Group holding company. Within Religare, he has earlier served as the CEO – Religare Global Asset Management, Corporate Advisor to Fortis Healthcare and Head – Investment Banking for Religare Capital Markets Ltd. Prior to joining Religare in 2010, he has handled varied roles in the financial services industry across the U.S., Europe and Asia. He started his career in investment banking in New York with Citigroup, and relocated to London in 1998, he joined Lehman Brothers in 2000 in London and subsequently moved back to India with Lehman in 2006 as part of the team that developed and grew Lehman’s India business. He returned to Citibank in Mumbai in 2008.
