Veneeth Purushotaman is the Chief Information Officer (CIO) at Fortis Healthcare; with over two decades of experience in technology enablement in Pharma and Retail sectors. He was the CIO at Bharti Retail until December 2015 and was instrumental in driving a major technology transition, migrating the Easy Day Stores to an independent technology landscape from Walmart. Before Bharti he was with the Shoppers Stop Group of companies having worked for Shoppers Stop and HyperCity Retail. He is a CIO Hall of Fame honoree and was conferred the Images Most Admired CIO of the Year – Retail in 2015 by the Images Retail organization.
He is an ISB-Kellogg Alumni and a Graduate in Computer Science.
Ashish Bhatia currently holds the position of COO Region (North & East) of Fortis Healthcare India. In his current profile he handles the overall operations of all Fortis hospitals in Punjab, Himachal, Rajasthan & West Bengal. Having started his career with the Tea Gardens in Assam, Mr. Bhatia has over 33 years of varied experience and was working as Vice President - Marketing with Hero Motors prior to joining Fortis. Ashish Bhatia has been associated with Fortis Healthcare since its inception and has held many key positions within the group during the past 14 years. He joined Fortis Hospital Mohali in 2002 as Director, Administration and became the Chief Operating Officer of the Fortis Hospital Mohali in 2006. Under his leadership, among many other achievements, Fortis Hospital Mohali became the first hospital of the network to receive the prestigious international JCI (Joint Commission International) accreditation. Ashish Bhatia has created successful business modules and powerful teams across the Fortis network. He later assumed responsibility as COO, Fortis Escorts Heart Institute, in November 2007. Under his leadership, Fortis Escorts Heart Institute, which is amongst the world’s largest standalone cardiac institutions, has received the NABH (National Accreditation Board for Hospitals and Healthcare Providers) accreditations. For over three years he held the position of COO and handled the overall operations of all hospitals of Fortis in India. Ashish Bhatia’s aspiration is to lead the large and dynamic teams of Fortis Hospitals to continuously provide world-class healthcare with patient centricity as its goal. He is also actively re-defining the Corporate Social Responsibility program of the organization, introducing several significant CSR projects in different hospitals. Ashish Bhatia is an alumnus of The Lawrence School, Sanawar, and brings to the organization, a rich and varied experience of over 33 years.
Mr. Raj Gore is a seasoned global professional with more than 16 years of versatile experience in business management in North America, Asia, & Africa, with a particular focus on healthcare for the past 12 years. During his association of 12 years with Fortis, he has been part of the phenomenal growth of Fortis in becoming one of the leading players in India. He has demonstrated effective leadership skills and business acumen through various corporate as well as operational roles with Fortis Healthcare and has led business transformation & financial turnaround of healthcare companies in India, Mauritius, and Vietnam. In his previous role as VP - Operations, he was responsible for driving operational excellence and profitability through functions such as Pricing, Sales, Medical Value Travel, Marketing, Process Improvement and various centrally driven strategic initiatives across the network. Prior to that he played an instrumental role as the Chief Executive Officer in transforming Hoan My Medical Corporation, the largest integrated private hospital chain in Vietnam with 6 hospitals and 1 clinic with more than 1,200 beds serving more than 1.5 million patients in a year. He is a chemical engineer from India and has MBA & MS in Information Technology degrees from USA.
Col. Harinder Singh Chehal, COO NCR, joined Fortis Healthcare in April 2008 and took over his current role in December 2015. Col. H.S. Chehal did his Schooling at The Lawrence School, Sanawar and graduated from National Defence Academy, Khadakwasla. He passed out in the super block from the Indian Military Academy, Dehradun and was commissioned in 71 Armoured Regiment in Jun 1983, which he went on to command. He is a post graduate from Defence Services Staff College, Wellington. He has topped most of his courses in the Indian Army and has consistently been graded ‘Outstanding’. He has served as an instructor in Tank Gunnery at ACCS, Ahmadnagar, served on a foreign posting for three years with the Indian Army Training Team, Botswana and served in the prestigious Military Operations Directorate at Army HQ, New Delhi. He has been decorated with the Vice Chief of Army Staff’s Commendation Card. Col. H.S. Chehal is also a qualified helicopter pilot and was adjudged ‘Best in Flying’ and ‘Best in Ground Subjects’ during his training. After taking premature retirement from the Army, Col. H.S. Chehal attended a certificate course in Business Management at IIM, Ahmedabad and joined Fortis as Head Admin, Fortis Hospital Noida in April 2008. He went on to be Facility Director, Fortis Hospital Mohali in January 2010, Zonal Director Punjab and Himachal in January 2011, Regional Director North in January 2013, Regional Director NCR-A in June 2015 and COO, NCR in December 2015. He was adjudged “The Best Facility Director/Zonal Director in FY 2010-11” and has been an integral part in starting and sustaining the ‘SPARKLE’ initiative.
He is the CEO of our healthcare arm, this being his second stint as the Chief Executive Officer of the organisation. Mr. Singh is an acknowledged business leader and a seasoned professional, with over 25 years of experience and has held senior executive roles in HR, Retail and Healthcare.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from Delhi University and is a Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. He has over 18 years of wide experience in the areas of Finance, Total Quality Management, leading a business and a global transformation program. Mr. Bedi joined Fortis Healthcare in 2011 from Philips Healthcare, Netherlands. At Fortis, he set up the Supply Chain and Shared Services function and has delivered exceptional results.
An associate member of Institute of Company Secretaries of India, Rahul has extensive experience of more than 13 years in Secretarial and Compliance Management. He joined Fortis Healthcare in 2012. In a short span of 3 years, as Head of the Corporate Secretarial function, he has successfully executed various projects relating to Funds Raising and International Divestment.
As Senior Vice-President, Medical Operations, Fortis Healthcare Ltd, he leads the Clinical Outcomes team which especially monitors the outcomes for CABG, PTCA and TKR. Under his leadership, the company has rolled out clinical pathways- STEMI and FAST, keeping the international best practices in mind.

Dr. Sanjeev K. Chaudhry holds a master's degree in economics from Punjab University and a Ph.D in business administration from Columbia University, United States of America and holds a university record for masters in economics at Punjab University, Chandigarh. He has varied business experience of over 33 years in various leadership roles. Prior to joining SRL, he was the South Asia Head at Du Pont Solae until 2006, a position he held for 11 years. He is also the chairman of CSC Nutrigenomics Pvt. Ltd, Singapore and is also on the board of several companies in India and abroad. Dr. Chaudhry has lived and worked in India, Malaysia, Singapore, UK and USA. The plan for privatization of India's first state owned enterprise was presented the Planning Commission of India by Dr. Chaudhry. From 1985 to 1988, Dr. Chaudhry was the head of corporate planning at RJR Nabisco / Britannia and following that President and CEO (1990-95) of NatOleo (a Johor Corp company). NatOleo was set up as a green field project by Dr. Chaudhry. He is a visiting faculty to various management institutes and universities around the world. He writes guest columns for magazines and has authored three books on value education and management.
Sanjeev Vashishta is the Chief Executive Officer of SRL Limited, the largest Diagnostics Company in India having over 285 Labs and 6800 Collection Points. A Fortis Group Company, SRL has the complete range of Diagnostics services. He leads the strategic and organisational development objectives and takes care of new business-lines identification / development and geographical expansion of the business. He is instrumental in intensifying the company’s focus on improving efficiencies through robust Systems and Processes, developing and nurturing Talent and introducing new technologies / Diagnostics tests to improve the Accuracy of Diagnosis and provide the diagnostics services at an affordable price to end consumers.
Prior to joining SRL, Sanjeev worked in Fortis for over 6 years where he successfully ran Hospitals. He was conferred with various awards at personal and professional levels. Previously, he spearheaded the Mergers & Acquisition function for Fortis where he successfully expanded Fortis’ presence to all parts of India and also led International acquisitions. He has a unique distinction of running businesses both on the Healthcare delivery (Hospitals) and Diagnostics side.
In his professional career spanning about 26 years, Sanjeev got the opportunity to work in ‘Old Economy’ Companies including Textiles, Chemicals and also ‘New Economy’ sectors – IT, Telecom, Healthcare in senior positions across various functions including Management, Finance, Corporate Laws and Legal. Sanjeev has been associated with various business / professional bodies like FICCI, CII, NHRD network and NATHEALTH etc. A graduate (B.Com Hons.) from Delhi University, Sanjeev is a qualified ‘Company Secretary’ and has also done Masters in ‘Business Administration’.
Mr.K.Srivatsan working as President - Commercial is responsible for overall functioning Finance , Corporate Goverence and Supply Chain of SRL Limited. Mr. K. Srivatsan graduated in Commerce with professional qualifications in Finance from the Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India and Legal from the Institute of Company Secretaries of India. His overall experience of over 20 years spans pharmaceuticals, healthcare and shipping. Srivatsan has been with Fortis Healthcare since 2011. Prior to joining Fortis Healthcare, he has been with Cipla Limited, Sanofi Aventis Limited, Panacea Biotec Limited, Wockhardt Hospitals Limited and Mercator Lines (Singapore) Limited.
Dr. Amar Dasgupta, M.D., Ph.D., Fellow U.I.C.C., Fellow ISHTM Dr. Amar Dasgupta, the President-International Operations, SRL Limited and he mentors Hematology within the SRL network of laboratories. He did his MD from Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education & Research, Chandigarh, India and obtained his PhD from Mumbai University. He did his post-doctoral fellowship in Medical Genetics, Hematology and bone marrow transplantation at the University of Washington, Seattle, USA. Dr. Dasgupta is a reputed Hematologist with a wide spectrum of academic and professional honors, medals, merit scholarships, fellowships and awards including the prestigious John Fogarty Fellowship (National Institutes of Health, USA) and Yamagiwa-Yoshida Fellowship (UICC, Geneva). He was a recipient of University Merit Scholarship at the MBBS level, Talent Search Scheme Fellowship of the Indian Council of Medical Research during MD studies and institute's silver medal for merit of first order at the MD examination.
Currently Dr. B.R. Das is working as the President-Research & Innovation at SRL Limited, Mumbai. He has been associated with us since February 10, 2001. Apart from R&D, he also acts as the Mentor of the Molecular Diagnostics and the Clinical Research Services in our Company. He has varied business experience of over 32 years. He has worked as a Professor in Medical Biotechnology for nearly 25 years and has published more than 90 research papers in peer reviewed International Journals. Several Ph.D. and post-doctoral Scientists have completed their clinical research work under his guidance. His research work has been highly acclaimed in India and abroad for which he has been honored with several prestigious awards such as the Best Young Scientist Award given by Indian National Science Academy (INSA), Indian Science Congress Association (ISCA) Young Scientist Award, MP Young Scientist Award, KI Memorial Award for promotion of Medicine Research in Japan, Samanta Chandrasekar Award from Orissa Bigyan Academy. He has also worked as a visiting scientist in Case Western Reserve University Hospital, Cleveland, USA, and Kyoto Medical School, Kyoto, Japan. Recently, he has been nominated as the International Working Group representative of Association of Molecular Pathology (AMP), USA. He has also been invited by the Association of Indian Pathologist of North America (AIPNA) to work as an Expert member in the Molecular Path Committee.
Dr. Avinash Phadke, is responsible for overall functioning of pathology services of the Company including standalone laboratories, reference laboratories as well as hospital based laboratories. He holds a bachelor's degree in medicine (pathology) from Tata Memorial Hospital. He topped the batch and was awarded the certificate of special merit from Mumbai University. He also marked first the D.P.B. examination & was awarded the Dr. Salaskar gold medal for the same. Dr. Phadke regularly addresses & sits on panel lectures in national & international conferences. He has also published articles in pathology journals. Prior to this, Dr. Phadke was the director and chief of pathology services at Piramal Diagnostics. He is also on the board of Price Ali Khan Hospital and is an independent director on Talwalkar Better Value Fitness Ltd. He has won awards from medical bodies like Indian Medical Association and Times of India / Express Group publications. He has been working as a pathologist for more than 30 years.
Mr. Ravi Aggarwal is the Director Sales & Marketing since January 10, 2013 and he is responsible for all strategic decisions pertaining to Sales & Marketing function including Trade Sales, Franchisee Development, Branding & Marketing, Channel Sales & Logistics. Mr. Aggarwal holds a Bachelors degree in Pharmacy and has also done MBA in Sales & Marketing from University of Delhi. He brings on board over 22 years of rich experience in various leadership / front line roles in the Sales and Marketing function. He joins us from MSD Consumer Care, where he held the position of Business Unit Director / Consultant where he was mainly responsible for developing the complete strategy for the Company's expansion. He has also worked with various prestigious companies viz. Boots India, Seagull Labs Ltd, Modi Mundi Ltd, Ozone Ayurvedics, Ranbaxy Global Consumer Care Limited and Elder Consumer Products in various capacities.
Debjani comes with more than 20 years of experience in the domain of Human Resources, having worked across diverse Industries like Travel, Telecom, Information Technology and Manufacturing. Prior to joining SRL, She was working with Kuoni Travel Group as the Head of HR for their India business, where she was a key member of the Executive Committee. Prior to Kuoni, she worked in Picadilly Group of Companies as Director - Corporate HR, with Bentley Systems as the Head - HR for their South East Asia business where she spear-headed three cross border M&As in the region, with HCL Technologies as Head HR for their Retail & Consumer vertical, with Bharti Group where she played multiple roles in her total stint of 9 years with the orgnization. Prior to Bharti, her first stint in the Corporate was with National Aluminium Company where she started her career as a Management Trainee.
Mr. Radhakrishna Pillai is the Chief Information Officer of our Company and is working with us since January 19, 1998. He is responsible for all strategic decisions pertaining to IT & CCG interventions aimed at process improvements at our Company. Mr. Radhakrishna Pillai has acquired over 25 years of technical and managerial experience solving business problems with information system technology solutions by process improvements and innovations. Mr. Pillai has been recognized and felicitated in various national and international forums for IT professionals. A key thought leader in the CIO fraternity for enterprise technology and also a key member in the governing body of CIO KLUB, India; he was also recognized in the CIO powerlist by 'CIO Decision' in the year 2008. Mr. Radhakrishna Pillai is a Graduate in Statistics from Kerala University with Diploma in computer science, diploma in marketing management from Institute of Management & Personal Studies, Mumbai.
Mr. Varun Mehta, Director - Human Resources heads the human resources functions of SRL Limited. He has been associated with SRL since October 2011. He holds Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resources Management from University of Kurukshetra. Mr. Varun Mehta has over 17 years of rich experience in diverse industries ranging from Hospitality, ITES and financial services. Prior to joining SRL, he was associated with Religare Enterprises Limited as Senior Vice President - HR. Prior to that he worked with Taj Group of Hotels and Convergys India Services Pvt. Ltd. He brings expertise in the areas of Human Resources planning and development, Compensation Management, Performance Management and Career planning.
Mr. Ravi Batra, Chief Risk Officer & Company Secretary, before Joining SRL, was Sr. Vice President (Corporate Affairs) & Company Secretary of Religare Enterprises Limited listed at the National Stock Exchange. He was responsible for Compliances related to Reserve Bank of India, Foreign Exchange Management, Securities and Exchange Board of India, Stock Options, ROC, Secretarial, Merger / Amalgamations and various capital raising processes like Pre-IPO Placement, Initial Public offer (IPO), Rights Issue, Global Depository Receipts and various compliances related to conducting Board Meetings and Annual General Meetings and compliances of companies incorporated in Mauritius, UK and Australia. He joined Religare in January 2007 and considering the expansion plans of SRL, he moved to SRL to take care of Corporate Governance which includes Compliance, Legal, Secretarial and Internal Audit functions. Before joining Religare, he was head Legal, Compliance and Secretarial of Jaipuria Group diversified into PEPSI, PIZZA HUT, COSTA COFFEE, STEM CELL and having operations in Mauritius, Sri Lanka and Uganda. He has a total 15 years of experience.
Mr. Saurabh Chadha, is the Chief Financial Officer since August 7, 2006. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant with over 25 years of experience in finance, accounts, budgeting, MIS, working capital management, internal controls, financial planning, portfolio management, compliances and providing leadership to a team of professionals in finance. He is a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and has cleared Level - I of CFA examination from the CFA Institute, USA and also holds a National Stock Exchange Certifications for expertise in the financial markets. He has done B.Sc. (Hons) Chemistry from Delhi University. Mr. Chadha is a key top management functionary who has participated and advised our Company in all strategic initiatives of expansion, growth, funding and financial management. He also has exposure in joint ventures, merger and acquisitions and other financial arrangements. Prior to joining our Company, he was Director - Finance and Investments of Ebrahim Abdul Aal Group of Companies W.L.L. for a period of 12 years. Prior to that he was working with Modi Ollivetti Limited (1991 to 1993) and PriceWaterhouse (1990-1991).
Dr. Leena Chatterjee, holds the position of Director - Fortis Labs & Strategic Initiatives for our company. She holds the dual responsibility of a Lab Director ensuring technical and operational excellence in the several Fortis SRL Labs across India as well as that of working closely with the CEO and SRLs senior management in SRL's strategic initiatives . A graduate of the Armed Forces Medical College, Pune, she did her post graduation in pathology from R&R Hospital, Delhi. She joined SRL in July 2001, and has held key positions within the organization since then. She has contributions towards operational excellence at SRL by being intimately involved with the setting up and successful running of several labs and Wellness Centers across the country. She is also involved in maintaining quality standards and technical excellence and has ensured continued laboratory accreditations for labs under her purview. The Fortis SRL role requires her to work closely with the managements of both Fortis and SRL
Dr. Deepa Dave, holds the position of Director - Lab Operations for SRL Limited. Dr. Deepa is MD (Medical Biochemistry) and MBBS from Lady Hardinge Medical College, Delhi. She has over 24 years of experience. She joined SRL in 2003 and has held many key positions within the organization since then. Dr. Deepa has been instrumental in expanding SRL's laboratory network PAN India. She has supervised projects of setting up of new laboratories, including budget allocation, instruments procurement, resource management etc. She is playing a significant role in supervising the lab operations in all SRL Network labs and Franchise labs across the country. Her major role includes bringing excellence in the lab processes, working towards the achievement of quality standards, setting up new laboratories and liasoning with Franchise owners. Prior to joining SRL she was working with Sitaram Bhartia Institute of Science and Research as Consultant and Head of the Lab Medicine Department.
Dr. (Gp Capt) G.S. Sabhikhi, joined the organization as Director Radiodiagnosis and Imaging in October 2009. He has played a pivotal role in the development of Radiodiagnosis and Imaging as a new vertical of SRL from its infancy. Dr. G S Sabhikhi obtained his MBBS from AFMC- Pune University in 1982. He received his MD in Radiology from AFMC- Pune University in 1990 and was awarded the EAC medal for academic excellence. He joined the Armed Forces -Army Medical Corp in 1982 and was a member of the Army Medical Corps for more than 22 years. He has worked in various capacities in the Armed Forces-initially as a medical officer and subsequently as a Radiologist. He has successfully set up new Radiology departments and headed Radiology Departments of large teaching hospitals. During his career spanning over almost 2 decades, he has developed high diagnostic skills and gained invaluable experience in radiology that includes diagnostic conventional imaging, CT, MRI and Interventional Radiology.
Dr. Simi Bhatia holds the position of Director - Clinical Reference Laboratory, SRL Mumbai, company's flagship laboratory. She also heads the department of Anatomic pathology and Autoimmunity. She did her MBBS from LTMM College and MD from the prestigious Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai. She also holds diploma in clinical research from Catalyst Clinical Services; certificate in hospital administration and management from Symbiosis, Pune and has also done a short course from IIM, Ahmedabad. She is a certified Assessor for NABL and CAP. Dr. Simi has around 24 years of experience. She joined SRL in April, 1997 as Pathologist and and has held key positions since then. She is involved in working towards the operational and technical excellence at Mumbai laboratory and has made major contributions towards the process improvements in the areas of laboratory operations.
Dr. Rajiv Tangri is heading SRL's Clinical Reference Laboratory at Gurgaon under the capacity of Director. He is MBBS and MD (Pathology) from Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences, Sevagram, Wardha. Dr. Rajiv has over 17 years of experience in the field of laboratory medicine. He has played a significant role in streamlining the lab operations at Gurgaon Reference lab. He successfully led the laboratory through various NABL and CAP audits. His area of interest is Anatomic Pathology with special interest in Neuropathology and Oncopathology. He is also an NABL approved technical assessor for Histopathology and Cytopathology. Prior to working with SRL he has worked with Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute and Max Super Specialty Hospital in New Delhi as Consultant.
Dr. Reema Bahri has been associated with us since 2010. Her core responsibilities include implementation and maintenance of quality standards at all our locations. Dr. Reema Bahri has made significant contributions to the Organization and has played an instrumental role in driving various Quality initiatives, Audits and Projects. She did her MBBS from Dayanand Medical College and Hospital, Ludhiana where she was awarded gold medal in Biochemistry. She did her MD in Biochemistry from Christian Medical College & Hospital, Ludhiana and senior residency from Lady Hardinge Medical College, New Delhi with overall experience of over 15 years. She has also done several courses in Quality Management, is an empanelled assessor of NABL and has successfully led the laboratories through various NABL and CAP audits in her career. Her various professional affiliations are member of Association of Medical Biochemists of India (AMBI),Association of Clinical Biochemists of India (ACBI), Twins Cities Association of Biochemists of Hyderabad (TAB), Quality Council of India, etc. Prior to joining SRL, she has worked with Dayanand Medical College and Hospital, Ludhiana and Vimta Lab Sciences, Hyderabad.

Mr. Chadha was previously the MD & CEO of SAK Consumer Retail Services Ltd (SAKCRS) which he promoted in 2003 and which was acquired by RWL in Oct’08.
Prior to promoting SAKCRS he was a Senior Manager with the management consulting firm A.T. Kearney and managed a number of engagements in the areas of new business development and organizational improvement.
He is an MBA from the Said Business School, Oxford and holds a Post Graduate Degree in Economics from the Delhi School of Economics.
Mr. Gupta has been working with the company for the past 8 years and brings to the organization rich experience of 21 years.
He has over 10 years experience in supply chain management of consumer electronics working as Financial Controller with Thakral Corporation (HK) Ltd. – a multi-national trading company based in Hong Kong.
He is a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India as well as Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India. He completed his graduation in Commerce from Shri. Ram College of Commerce, University of Delhi.
Prior to joining RWL, Mr. Singh has worked with ICI Limited, Zydus Cadila & Nicholas Piramal India Limited. Has also had a 3- year stint with ICICI as Regional head- New customer’s acquisition.
He is a Bioscience graduate from Delhi University with PG in marketing management from Kurukshetra University.
Col. Grewal retired from the Indian Armed Forces after an illustrious career spreading over 21 Years. As procurement head at Ranbaxy Labs, he has a rich experience in procurement of raw materials for manufacture of APIs. Before moving to RWL, he was associated with Fortis Escorts Hospital in the purchase department. He has been with RWL since the past 3 Years and is currently handling operations (Retail/Warehouse/Logistics/Inventory Management). He holds a Master’s degree in Defense studies & strategic analysis and a diploma in Business Management.
Sanjeev has been associated with RWL since September 2008. He has over 18 years of rich experience in Pharmaceutical and Retail Industry. Within Religare, he has earlier served as the CEO – Religare Global Asset Management, Corporate Advisor to Fortis Healthcare and Head – Investment Banking for Religare Capital Markets Ltd. Prior to joining Religare in 2010, he has handled varied roles in the financial services industry across the U.S., Europe and Asia. He started his career in investment banking in New York with Citigroup, and relocated to London in 1998, he joined Lehman Brothers in 2000 in London and subsequently moved back to India with Lehman in 2006 as part of the team that developed and grew Lehman’s India business. Mr. Gurpreet Singh Dhillon has held the position of Chief Executive Officer of RHTTM since 22 May 2013. Prior to his current appointment, he served as the Chief Operating Officer of the Trustee Manager. Mr. Dhillon oversees all key operations of RHT and is involved in sourcing for investment opportunities for RHT. He also serves as a Director on Fortis Global Healthcare Infrastructure Pte. Ltd. and Religare Healthtrust Services Pte. Ltd., both of which are wholly-owned subsidiaries of RHT. Previously, Mr. Dhillon gained his experience in the fields of investments and asset management during his career in Religare Capital Markets Plc, the investment banking arm of Religare Enterprises Limited, where he played key advisory roles in real estate acquisitions across India and the United Kingdom. Mr. Dhillon graduated from the University of Essex with a Bachelor of Laws degree.
Mr. Singh has held the position of Chief Financial Officer ("CFO") and Executive Director of RHTTM since 1 January 2013. Mr. Singh is experienced in the fields of finance and accounting, particularly in the Indian healthcare industry. Prior to his career in RHTTM, Mr. Singh served as the Corporate Controller of Finance in Fortis Healthcare Limited ("Fortis") and played an influential role during its IPO Offering in 2007, rights issuance in 2009 and issue of convertible bonds in 2010. Previously, he held the position of CFO in Super Religare Laboratories Limited ("SRL") where he established the organisation's accounting system and was actively involved in business development. SRL is currently part of Fortis.
Ms. Tan joined RHTTM in 2011 as the Head of Compliance and Investor Relations and continues to hold the position at present. Ms. Tan commenced her career in 1996 at SGX-ST, where she was with the Issuer Regulation and subsequently, Listing function. During her appointment in SGX, Ms. Tan played an integral role in the launch of the FTSE ST Indices as well as the Global Depository Receipts. Prior to her appointment in RHTTM, Ms. Tan held the position of Vice President in the Listings function in SGX where she would advise potential candidates for listing. During her time with the Issuer Regulation function, she reviewed candidate applications for IPO and oversaw the regulation of listed companies. Ms. Tan has on hand experience with companies in the maritime and offshore sector, extending beyond Singapore, including Southeast Asia, India and Norway. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (Honours) from the National University of Singapore.
As Chief Operating Officer ("COO") in India, Dr. Sobti oversees the operations of the clinical establishments under RHT's portfolio. Prior to his current appointment, Dr. Sobti has taken on various executive management roles and has over 14 years of experience in hospital management. Dr. Sobti previously held the position of Vice President of Operations and Business Strategy at the Metro Group of Hospitals as well as Chief Operating Officer and Medical Superintendent at Paras Hospitals Gurgaon and Paras Spring Meadows Hospital New Delhi. Dr. Sobti was previously based in Mata Chanan Devi Hospital where he developed his expertise in strategic planning, operational management and human resources as the Medical Superintendent. During his career, Dr. Sobti played an integral role in the implementation of the National Accreditation Board for Hospitals ("NABH") certification. The NABH accreditation is on par with other world leading accreditations. Dr. Sobti received a Diploma in Hospital Management from The National Institute of Health and Family Welfare. He also holds an MBBS degree from the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Services ("PGIMS") Rothak, Haryana.
Mr. Bhatia, based in India, serves as the Head of Accounts and Finance for RHT's India operations. Mr. Bhatia has over 17 years of experience in the areas of financial planning, US IPO readiness (SEC Listing), ERP implementation, Accounts, Taxation and Audit. From 2010 to 2012, Mr. Bhatia was the Finance & Accounts Controller at iYogi Technical Services Private Limited where he played an active role in the preparation for a US IPO (SEC Listing). He was also responsible for the preparation of financial statements and had also established an automated payroll system. From 2007 to 2009, he was the Deputy General Manager for the Finance and Accounts department at IREO Management Private Limited where he was responsible for preparing proposals for bank financing and reports for the Central Bank. From 1998 to 2006, Mr. Bhatia held the position of Head of Accounts Department at Chaman Lal Setia Exports Limited. During his appointment, he led the successful implementation of an Inventory Management System as well as developed an accounting and management information system for the organisation. Mr. Bhatia received a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the Kurukshetra University in 1993. Mr. Imtiaz has a wealth of experience in operations, compliance and risk management spanning over 12 years. Prior to joining RHT, he was Assistant Vice President of the Operations and Compliance department at Religare Securities Australia Ptd Limited, where he handled the daily operational functions of his department along with obtaining an ASX membership. Mr. Imtiaz holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Planning and Management from the Indian Institute of Planning and Management in 2005. He later received a Master of Business Administration (Finance and Marketing) Degree from the International Management Institute, Belgium in 2005.

Col Jintender Singh Chandel (Retd.) was commissioned into the Rajput Regiment of the Indian Army in 1980 and served in staff and field appointments at various levels including as BM of Brigade in active insurgency area of Nagaland and with Special Group (COMMANDO) and commanded the unit during Indian Peace Keeping Force operations in Sri Lanka. He also served as Joint Director Coordination in the Recruiting Directorate, Army Head Quarters and was responsible for coordinating recruitment of officers through SSBs and other ranks by the Recruiting Zones and the Directorate. He took premature retirement in 2001 after serving 21 glorious years with the Indian Army. In 2005, he joined Ranbaxy as General Manager, Administration and Security. This entailed the administration and security of the largest R&D complex among pharmaceutical companies in India and seven manufacturing plants all over the country. He joined Fortis Healthcare Limited in 2009 as a senior member of a core team for setting up a 275 bed Hospital at Kolkata and was in charge of all the regulatory licenses and permissions required for running a Multispecialty Hospital. He currently works with Fortis as Head of Project & Liaison in the Executive Chairman Office. Lt. Col. Chandel is a Commerce Graduate from DAV College, Chandigarh and holds an MSc in Defence Studies from Madras University.

Earlier he was General Manager – Quality with Indian Airlines and was also looking after the functions of Executive Director Engineering. He was instrumental in setting up the Jet Engine overhaul complex in Delhi, a State of the Art setup to overhaul P & W JT8D and IAE V2500 engines. He also looks after the aircrafts maintained under LAEPL.
Capt. R. L. KAPUR with more than 60 years’ experience and 25000 flying hours to his credit on various types of aircraft is the Chief of Flight Safety. In Indian Airlines he has been Instructor/Examiner and during this tenure trained Indian Air Force pilots of the VIP Squadron. He was Manager Flight Safety, Director of Operations and Regional Director. As the Managing Director he was instrumental in planning and starting the Modiluft airline. He was Chief of Flight Safety in Spicejet for nearly 5 years, Director of Safety, GMG Airlines, Dhaka for one and a half years before joining the organization in October, 2012
He holds a BSc Engineering Hons. (Aeronautical) degree from Punjab University and M Sc. Engineering (Gas Turbine Technology) degree from Cranfield Institute of Technology, UK. Received Aircraft Maintenance Engineers training on Boeing 737, Airbus A 300, Airbus A 320 and Boeing 747 aircraft and on aero engines in Rolls Royce Derby, UK. Attended Airworthiness and Accident Investigation courses with Civil Aviation Authority, UK and Federal Aviation Administration, USA.
Worked in the Directorate General of Civil Aviation for 38 years and the last ten years (1993 -2002) as the Director General. During this period simultaneously, worked as Chairman of various panels/committees of International Civil Aviation Organisation, like Technical Commission, Regulations Panel, International Air Safety Conference, Air Navigation Planning and Implementation Group and also as President of 32nd ICAO Assembly Session. As DGCA, laid down the new regulatory system consequent to privatization of air transport industry in India in 1994. Got the highest rating – Category I, for DGCA India following audit by FAA USA. Investigated over 50 aircraft accidents, including the one to Air India B 747 Kanishka aircraft over Atlantic Ocean. Was President of Aeronautical Society of India (1998-99).
Worked as board member of Airports Authority of India, Pawan Hans Limited, Governing Council of India Meteorological Department, Research Council of National Aerospace Laboratory, Aeronautics Research & Development Board and others. Led a number of Indian delegations abroad. Presented a number of papers in international conferences, some of which resulted in new international aviation regulations.
Was awarded NATIONAL AERONAUTICAL PRIZE for outstanding fundamental and applied work in Aeronautical Sciences/Technology for the year 2001.
Post retirement in 2002, worked as leader of ICAO international team to develop civil aviation in Afghanistan. Also worked as Advisor to Air Services Australia and High-Tec Systems USA.
Was Co-Chairman of ASSOCHAM Aviation Committee. Worked as Advisor to L & T to assist in compliance of regulatory requirements and certification of the new airport at Bangalore. Worked as member of a number of government committees.
Working in LAL/LAEPL since 2006. With over 50 years of aviation experience, assisted the company in its growth from a small turboprop aircraft operator to one of the biggest Non-Scheduled Operators in the country, engaged in both domestic and international charter operations.
Planned and executed development of Beas aerodrome from an unlicensed small airfield suitable for day operations of turboprop aircraft to a DGCA licensed aerodrome suitable for all weather night operations by jet aircraft. Also planned and assisted construction of a modern hangar at Beas aerodrome which is approved by DGCA as a major maintenance base.
